Canon camera a clear Convenience

I have used Canon for some time and actually traded my year old Canon for this model thinking the higher Mp would be a greater advantage. I do think however Canon missed something in their efforts to improve megapixels for quality. the lagtime when using flash is higher than previous models and the photo stabilization is clearly inferior to the prior model. Sadly I gave my last camera to my son and am almost sorry I didn't just give him the newer model. I think Canon needs to go back to the drawing board on this one.

      I got this camera on sale and used online coupon with it. Can't find cheaper than this anywhere else. Plus Canon is good known company in camera business. My last camera was also Canon but old enough to upgrade. So I bought this Camera. It has good battery life.
      The Canon PowerShot A2300 have very good picture quality for their class and are loaded with effects and filters.
      Video quality is good enough for Web use, but nothing spectacular. Panning the camera will create judder that's typical of the video from many compact cameras, and you'll notice motion trailing on fast-moving subjects. The zoom lens does not function while recording, but you do have a digital zoom; I suggest not using it, as the results are not pleasant.

          The A2300 and the A2400 are nearly identical with shutter speeds of 1.4 seconds with a 0.2 second shutter lag. Pricing difference is that for $10 more you get an image stablelizer in the A2400.

          The camera does not have a button to directly send the pictures to Facebook, however you can easily put the pictures on your computer and then upload them to Facebook. You can use a USB cord to transfer the pictures to your computer or you can use a memory card. This camera supports SD, SDHC and SDXC memory cards.
