This cartridge was for a Canon PIXMA 210. Sadly, I had to replace the printer. I used the printer for several years and it performed quite well for most applications. There are no ink options, so this cartridge is what you use for that printer. It's not as expensive as the ink for the replacement printer, a Canon MG5420. Overall the ink was fine.

It's very discouraging to get a good deal on a printer and then spend more money on the ink each year than it would cost to purchase a new printer several times over. I think this is a universal problem but perhaps there is a printer that would have a better deal on ink. If there is such a printer I would like to know about it. I do like the printer in general although I have a little problem with the paper catching on one edge, which somehow gets splattered with ink, so the top of the left-hand page sometimes gets messy. For important documents this is a problem.

  Canon does not list the page yield for this ink tank. I was able to locate anywhere from 155 pages to 300 pages depending on what was being printed.

  The CL-41 and CL-40 are for high quality photos is what I got out of it reading the information. I am going to get the 30 and 31 cartridges for daily use. It's what ever you need. be sure to check how may pages you can get off each cartrige. That's something I had to find out on my own.

  The only difference is the amount of ink! The 41 contains more!! I am not sure how much the 31 one contains (I think 2.7 mL x 3); however, I do know that the 41 contains 4mL of each color!!
  
  So, the only thing you have to decide is do you want to buy a cartridge that contains more (41) or less (31) ink.
