This is the best blend of mechanical pencil and regular pencil. It eliminates the cons of both pencils: running out of lead for the mechanical and always needing sharpening for the regular. My friend let me borrow one of hers in my Sophmore year of high school and it's the only pencil I've used since. I'm now a Senior in high school.

                These pencils are not refillable at all---only disposable. But they do have quite a bit of lead in them. The lead is almost as long as the pencil itself.
