Nice coffee for a few dollars less than at Starbucks. It's as good as any pre-packaged supermarket offerings, but not up to what you get freshly-ground at Starbucks. I use it in my automatic maker at work.
This is a bold coffee with more interesting notes than the French Roast. However, because of that, I feel there is more difference between the pre-packaged and freshly-ground Sumatra than with the French Roast. It's still very good and well worth it if you want to save a few bucks over Starbucks.

Comments about Starbucks Sumatra Ground Coffee, Regular, 1 lb. Bag:
While not a huge Starbucks fan, I do think their Sumatra is one of the best. I like to alternate coffees frequently and have several that I rotate between..Starbucks Sumatra being one of them. This was a great deal for the 1lb bag.

Great sales price through Staples, an even better bargain with a Staples coupon. Standard stores have a 12 oz package, while the same product through Staples is a full pound.
