Great on recycling/Not great on security

A big thank you to Staples for carrying so many recycled products, including some with 100% post-consumer content. I try to buy only recycled office products. So I love that these envelopes are recycled and made with 100% post-consumer paper. Unfortunately, these security envelopes are not secure: Put a check in one, hold it up to the light, and you can see right through it. So you'll still need to wrap the check in a piece of paper and then put it in the envelope if you want security. Also, the 20lb. weight of the paper content makes for a flimsier envelope than I'm used to using.

This envelope gets stuck in my laser printer 30% of the time and parts get sealed shut after the printing 50% of the time (I literally have to re-open the letter to put the contents in it - sometimes it will open with just a little tear, sometimes I have to throw it away and start over). Kinda a pain...perhaps it's not meant for laser printers or maybe just mine. I will not buy again.
