This cutter is heavy and handles well. But I didn't feel that it cut cleanly if over 5 or 6 sheets of paper in it although it is touted to handle up to 15. The edges were rough when much paper was cut. But it did cut through the 15+ as advertised. Adequate but wouldn't want to use for work where real quality was important.

I use this trimmer for my home-based printing business and it works great for cutting various different types of paper (vellum, cardstock, etc.) My previous cutter was one with a rotary blade that I had to replace frequently, would become loose and cut crooked lines. I love not having to replace anymore blades or worrying that it will cut crooked. It has really made my job a LOT easier! The only compaint I have is that it doesn't have a lazer but when I was comparing prices, the safety features like locking arm and finger guard were more important. It's also not as easy to store as my old trimmer but I can live with that if it means never having to buy another blade!
