Love this trimmer!

I use this trimmer for my home-based printing business and it works great for cutting various different types of paper (vellum, cardstock, etc.) My previous cutter was one with a rotary blade that I had to replace frequently, would become loose and cut crooked lines. I love not having to replace anymore blades or worrying that it will cut crooked. It has really made my job a LOT easier! The only compaint I have is that it doesn't have a lazer but when I was comparing prices, the safety features like locking arm and finger guard were more important. It's also not as easy to store as my old trimmer but I can live with that if it means never having to buy another blade!

We ordered a second one replacement and the same problem as the first one we purchased. Took it in to our local staples and the manager looked at it and could see the problem with the cutting handle, a manufacturer poor quality design in use of cutter. Cutting arm is screwed in so tight it was hard to cut with and everytime you cut there was metal shavings all over the table.

This is exactly what I wanted. It cuts beautifully. My previous cutter had a rotary blade, and it was just awful!

Use for cutting thin pieces of leather for belts and wallets. The handle only comes in contact with the blade on the board for about three inches! Attractive, expensive, and useless!

This paper cutter is of a high quality. The depth of the handle is a bit over 18", not the 21" listed, so it fits perfectly in my 21" deep drawer when not in use.
This cutter is like the old fashioned ones. It is well built, cuts accurate, sharp edges (love that it's self-sharpening), and has slight indents in the small squares on the surface- just like the ones made years ago- wonderful measuring guides!
For me, it is the perfect paper cutter. Exactly what I was looking for. Worth the exta money because it is made well, with quality materials, and it will last.
