The only reason I used a pro printer was I couldn't staple my booklets at my home office. On the last job they mixed up the pages, right before an event! I put the stapler to work right out of the box, 250 booklets, no problems.

I had to push VERY VERY hard on the paper guide to get it to move. It's made of about 1/16" metal, which you have to push on the edge, so it really hurt my fingers to push on it. This wouldn't work at all for our church since we would need to adjust it all the time to staple several sizes of bulletins each week. It looks like it's durable, but I don't want to hurt my fingers each time I need to adjust it. I returned it for the type of stapler we had before, which lasted 2 years longer than its warranty: a Stanley Bostitch longreach stapler, which has a hard plastic paper guide that works fine and doesn't hurt your fingers to adjust.

I produce booklets that present artists paintings, and their availability in limited edition prints. It produces a very professional bound booklet,...with even eight pages of double sided HP photo paper.
Its beyond me why a regular stapler isn't made with a six inch throat/jaw opening, but they don't, so if you want to put together booklets, one has to buy one of these. Its definitely worth it though, solid construction too. I would recommend it to a friend, or anyone. I actually feel like a professional booklet maker now, and it looks like it would make an excellent weapon, should anyone break into my office,...just kidding.

We bought this stapler to make booklets / mini catalogs for our small business - and I couldn't be happier. It works great and I like that the guide stays in place once it is set in order to ensure precise stapling in every booklet. I had to practice a few times to get the staples placed properly but I'm sure that most people would use the measuring guide to be more accurate. I really think that this is a great stapler for the value and I am completely satisfied with the quality as well. I would definitely purchase this model again!

I just drove through a blizzard twice to buy this product. Each time I followed the instructions and the stapler broke on the FIRST USE. I know how to use these. I had one that I used for years at my last job. No problems. These aren't worth the cheap metal they're made of.

It's a piece of trash. Don't bother.
