Great product! Great price! It doesn't have lights that turn from red to green. When you push the left and right sides of the paper back to the correct spot, it pushes a tab back that makes the left & right indicators turn from red to green (no batteries required). Great tool, especially if children will be using the product for punching school work, scrapbook pages, etc. Easy to use. Bottom tray for catching punches is easily removed and replaced. Stores compactly.

This product has one major flaw. The base is supposed to be removable to accomodate the cleaning. If used on a daily basis the bottom needs to be removed more often and the plastic that the bottom is made out of is much too rigid to be removed without breaking.

Punched music lyrics for notebook for singing group. Worked like a charm. Showed green if the sheets were lined up perfectly. Very sturdy and durable. Also used it to punch holes in documents for organizing in loose-leaf notebooks. All around good product at a reasonable price.

I bought a cheaper model several years ago, and it would sometimes punch holes too close to the paper edge. This model has a signal that turns from red to green to let you know that your paper is positioned correctly. It also has a lever that will lock down the handle for more compact storage. It's easy to empty. I wish I had spent the money to buy this one in the first place (although I'm not sure it was available yet)! A great medium usage hole-punch!

I HAVE USED SEVERAL 3-HOLE PUNCHES OVER THE YEARS I WORKED AND FIND THIS MUCH EASER TO OPERATE AND STORE WHILE NOT IN USE AND EASILY ACCESSIBLE WHEN NEEDED. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT TO MY FRIENDS AND EVEN CONSIDER GIVING IT AS A GIFT.
