I purchased this because we had a heavy duty stapler but it always seemed to jam when stapling just a few pages. This stapler looked like it would fit nicely and it does. When we need it it is quick to use and easy to handle. The staples are easy to replace and only take a minute. We use it multiple times throughout the day and when done just place it next to the cash register out of the way that makes it small enough to get at when we need to. The lightness of it is just right and it handles the amount of things we need it for. Thanks

This is your regular stapler. If you want to staple together a thicker group of papers, you should get a different stapler. This is obviously not for those tasks. There are staplers that are for those tasks and it also specifies that part as well. I haven't have this jam and I like that it's lightweight. It's never let me down so far. I've had to replace old staplers and buy several of these, so far so good.
