Q: I'm going to be taking (4) 8 1/2" X 11" pieces of paper and folding them in half to resemble a "book" measuring 8 1/2" x 5 1/2". I want to "bind" the book on the left spine using 2 holes about 5" apart and ribbon tied. I want my book "cover" and "back" to be felt fabric. Can this hole punch cleanly punch through 2 layers of felt and 8 thicknesses of paper? And can it be adjusted to accommodate the hole configurations I desire? Asked on 2/18/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This punch should punch eight pieces of paper and two pieces of felt but it may be close. You can adjust this hole punch to punch two holes. We also have a two hole punch that punches up to 50 sheets of paper. The item number is 649529. Answered on 2/24/2012 by Dawn B from Staples
