I took this to work and let everyone use it. We use a stapler often during the day, and this holds up well to the use. It's simple and easy to use, none of my co-workers have any trouble with it. The only problem I've seen is that the paper quide moves too easily, and you end up stapling things farther down than you planned. Otherwise (and that's not a big thing to me), a great stapler.

I work in a small office that produces many multipage documents that are sent out for mailing on a daily basis. I also print & mail bills to clients. This stapler doesn't handle the workload of a small office & definitely not a large one. From the beginning I didn't like the way it stapled as though it didn't really push the staple down hard enough to flatten the staple. We had it a couple weeks before it jammed the first time. It constantly jams so you can't get the staple loader in and out. Now the release latch hangs out the back of the stapler because the housing of the stapler has started to come apart. The guide doesn't stay in place so you have to reset it many times during a stapling job. It doesn't handle many pages. The top pops off the stapler if you try to staple more than a few pages. The design is poor and the quality is low.

I have used swingline forever, and never had a problem until now. BUT, this was very expensive for a stapler, and it does not work, I have returned ONE already, and this one does not work either! It will staple occasionally at best. It takes up a lot of my time trying to get it to staple. DO NOT BUY!

Terribly cheap construction. I bought 2 for the school, and when I tried to load the staples, both staplers had stuck staple trays. The paper stop won't stay put, so the staple depth was not uniform. I'm taking them back and looking for something else.

Thought it was rechargeable, so that you could have it on desk with no cord... Guess again! Paper depth guide flimsy, does not hold. Paper capacity is low. Very disappointing compared to one I owned previously, also purchased at Staples.
