For this purpose, I would recommend the Swingline 747 Classic Stapler - assuming you want a normal desktop stapler. If you want something dedicated for this task, you should look at a staple gun such as the Arrow T50. A staple gun may be more heavy-duty than you need, though. Answered on 5/11/2011 by Liz C from Staples A: Look at the grey, back part of the stapler where the black cap came off and you'll see a space in the very center with a tiny little nub sticking up. The spring rests on that. Its pretty easy to balance the spring on that little nub then snap the black cap over it back into place. The part of the black cap with center piece that's angled like a little arrow is the part that fits right over the top of the spring.
