This electric stapler was purchased to replace a Swingline electric stapler that stopped working 1 week out of warranty. It is very flimsy and you must jam the papers into the mechanism to get it to sense the paper and staple. Frankly, it's a piece of junk. I will not order another Swingline electric stapler, but the Stanley electric staplers also don't have good reviews, so we'll just stick with manual staplers until I can eventually find something better. Don't waste your money ~ I'm returning this one.
