Love this for the laptop. Fit is safely snug. Material is durable, soft and lightweight. No overdose of compartments and zippers. Only wish it was offered in multiple color schemes so I can distinguish my bag from my husbands.

This is a nice case if you don't get caught in the rain. One of the outside pockets is not zippered or covered with a flap. I commute by bus so I was concerned that anything in that pocket would get wet. I chose to return the product. Other than that it appeared to be of good quality and would make a fine case for someone who will use it primarily indoors.

I've used many products from SwissGear and have always been satisfied with performance and durability. Being that this was the only game in town, for a 17.3 laptop (HP Envy) that was readily available, I did not even hesitate to purchase. Past SwissGear carrying cases have always been a snug fit and good protection from other items in my backpack. This setup is a bit more roomy in that it has an 1" or so at the top instead of the customary "enough" clearance to be able to zip close. I only use the case for laptop storage and none of the accessories. My only issue with the case is with the additional "space" from previous SwissGear cases, which have all been 17". It makes the case bulkier than actually needed when you transport in a backpack. Fortunately, my compression straps on my daypack alleviate most of my problem.
