Credit Card Sized and Thick as an iPad

By Bill

from Alberta, Canada

Comments about TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Nano Travel Router:

I bought one of these for business travel and I do not like to be hard wired to a wall. that was the start of the advantages I found to this device.
- some Hotels allow internet at a daily access fee .... this is per device ... so for example if you travel with family you have a lot of devices that need internet access per day ... this little guy saves that problem ... I wireless router and a family full of electronic devices (smart phones/iPad/iMac/PC's) ... still only 1 device charge paid out to the hotel. it paid for itself on day 1.
have had this router for 4 months and it was easily set up and works flawlessly. the range is tight but I did not purchase this unit for range knowing its physical size.

Brilliant piece of kit for the traveller

Comments about TP-LINK TL-WR702N Wireless N150 Nano Travel Router:

Useful for hotel rooms that provide a single ethernet cable but your ipad or android device only supports wifi, or if a number of people need simultaneous access to the web.

It's simple to use. If all you want is a plain access point, as 99% of us do, just plug it in and that's all. No configuration is required. The password and SSID are printed right on the back of the case.

We bought the Nano for a group of 3 writers who were sharing a flat in Germany that was equipped with a single ethernet cable. The Nano gave them all access to email and the web including skype, netflix, etc in their own rooms.

In spite of the WR702's tiny size it provided a more than adequate signal and speed to all the rooms. It's signal strength seems comparable to many conventional routers.

The power adapter uses 120/240 V or the Nano can also be powered from a usb port on a laptop in a pinch.

All in all a very useful powerful and inexpensive accessory in a tiny package.

Recommended.
