I thought I'd like having a case with a 3 ring binder configuration better. I borrowed one from a friend and learned that this Targus is far easier to use because the pages stay in the binder instead of sliding out of the binder under the weight of the pages of disks as you flip through the binder. I also found the page design intuitive because with the binder open like a book, the disks slide vertically in and out of the page sleeves. This is the best design I've used so far.

Does what it is intended to do and holds lots of CDs or DVDs.

The only complaint is that I didn't notice when buying it that the pages are sewn in rather than attached with 3-ring binder. Therefore, no adding or removing any of the pages.

Comments about Targus 256 CD/DVD black album:

This case is handy for home use. It is not practical for travel unless you need 250 discs with you. It is good enough for infrequently accessed discs but would not be durable if it was in constant use. It is easy to get discs in & out. The pages are a bit flimsy so I do not use it for special or archive discs. Discs do not fall out because there is a lock over tab of clear plastic. Plus, it zips all the way around which protects the discs. I added a photo of the pages since in the store, you cannot see or feel the pages. You cannot remove or add pages. They are bound to the case in 2 chunks.

This product is the best i have seen. Its very durable and holds lots of dvds or cds. I have 3to of these already and have yet to see a better product out there that has not broken after too many discs are in binder.

This is great for my mp3's I have purchased. With all the hacking, and problems with viruses I decided to be sure I had hard copies of my music. This really holds a lot and is working out great. I back up to an external, but they too can deteriorate.

Can store up to 256 DVD's using this device and it takes up verl little room.

why cant i get one of these. The stores clam there out on Sunday ad and the web site says out of stock The liberty tree mal staples said they had none. Where is the information coming from and why did we have this in a flyer with none available?
