Product Details

The Targus Dual Charger for iPad allows users to charge an iPad and other devices with USB charging capabilities through an AC outlet – two at one time. The charger includes one USB cable designed to work with an iPad, iPhone or iPod. The charger can be used with other USB chargeable devices by connecting the USB cable manufactured for that device. The integrated AC plug folds down so it’s out of the way and the prongs are protected when not in use. Once connected, the LED power indicator light lets users know when their devices are receiving power. Small and compact, this charger takes up very little space in a travel bag and comes in handy if you need an additional charger for the road.

      I was attracted to the DUAL charger and its capabilities but was disappointed to find after buying 2 that each only included ONE cable. This is NOT mentioned on the front of the package. In fact the photograph shows it connected to 2 devices showing TWO cables. Targus customer service was no help and the rep was smart-alecky by saying "the photograph shows an iPad and an iPhone and they aren't included either". They agreed to send me 2 cables gratis and then once I was off the phone, they emailed me to say they couldn't/wouldn't be sending the cables!

      This is a nice way to charge two devices without tying up two plugs. I was a little disappointed that it only came with one usb cable despite photos showing two devices charging. I'm sure it said as much somewhere on the package in small print, but I didn't realize it until I got home and had to use the usb cord I usually reserve for syncing my devices with my laptop to get things set up. Still, all in all I'm happy with the purchase. I can actually plug something else in where I charge my phones now!
