The Targus Mini Kaleidoscope Retractable Mouse is a fun and functional optical mouse. When powered, the mouse radiates seven continuous colors to brighten up your workspace. Colors are visible through the translucent scroll wheel and also show through the side and bottom of the mouse. Customizable color settings allow the user select one of seven colors or cycle through all of the colors during use. The optical technology provides accurate and precise mouse movements while the scroll wheel makes it easy to navigate through web pages and spreadsheets. The USB cable retracts creating a small form factor for travel and allows users to adjust the cable length.             I used the same style mouse (retractable) for 4 yrs; one day it just stopped working, ran over to closest staples, and bought a new retractable mouse. ergonomically great, perfect size. my laptop and mouse go everywhere with me, on job-sites, I use them on the hood of my SUV, the tailgate of pickup trucks, this new one is made better than the precious one that lasted 4 yrs, so hopefully I'll get at least 5yr from this one. my dog finds the alternating neon colors interesting, I don't even notice them...
