The Targus Notebook Chill Mat™ is a cooling mat for notebook PCs with two built-in fans for fast heat dissipation. The Chill Mat™ weighs only 15 oz and has non-skid rubber domes to prevent any slippage of the notebook. Powered by the notebook's USB port,the PA248U also comes with a convenient on/off switch.

  • Two-fan cooling system pulls heat away from the notebook and prevents the CPU from overheating during use

Works OK but noisy. Reasonably effectively cools my Macbook. But, what do you expect at this price? It is easy enough that even a computer incompetent like me can plug in and use. No software needs to be added, just plug and switch on.
