I bought the Apple red leather smart cover when I purchased my ipad 3. I did not like it because it did not have a back cover....so had to buy a separate piece which did not fit properly (I actually bought two back covers). The front smart cover came off easily because it attaches with two magnetic pieces.

I absolutely love the Targus Slim case!! It is a front and back cover which is one piece. The back cover fits my ipad 3 perfectly and the front cover is a Smart Cover. I have had this cover for about 2 months. I use my ipad on a daily basis for several hours each day and the cover still looks like new. This cover comes in a very nice red, blue and black color. A very, very reasonable price for a great product! I highly recommend this to all ipad users!!

I bought this cover to protect my iPad when traveling. I feel the prices for iPad covers are overpriced in general, no matter where you buy them. This case was sturdy, but the prop stand for movie viewing was flimsy, and tended to fall. This case is good for protection, but not much else else, the stylus holder was a great idea, but not sure why they put it on the back of the case instead of the side.
