The Targus Slim Lap Desk is specifically designed for laptops and fits easily into virtually any laptop case. The Slim Lap Desk can be angled during use to protect you from the laptop heat. Unzipping the bottom of the Slim Lap Desk will release a spring-activated leg that will angle the desk and allow users to type comfortably. Made of a vented mesh material, the Slim Lap Desk allows the laptop to breathe and not overheat. Rubber stops on top create a non-slip grip that prevents the laptop from moving while in use. Lightweight and super thin, the Slim Lap Desk provides the user with optimum comfort and makes it easy to carry whether traveling for work, school or pleasure.

    A low cost, simple and portable solution to constant problem of Apple lap tops over heating. Provides a surface that allows air to flow through while keeping the hot surface away from your lap or any surface. It is better than the lap desks as your lap does not get hot from a pillow. And you are not distracted by noisy fans.

    Although the Targus Slim Laptop Desk does a good job of keeping the laptop from overheating or getting too warm, the design of it is unnecessarily bulkly. There are some straps that are on the device that seem to be only decorative but that get in the way and are uncomfortable if I use it on my lap. I thought that perhaps they were removable when I first got it, but could not figure out how to remove them. I think they should have made the laptop desk a little more versatile in this regard.
