I bought this days before a conference. When I tried it in the office before the conference the laser pointer didn't work. I had purchased the last one so I couldn't exchange it in time so I had to use it without the laser pointer. It was good for plug and play as it didn't need to download on any of the computers I had to use it on and besides the laser pointer not working it worked fine. As it stated it works 30+ feet away.
