Being a graduate school student who had to use power point every semester, I needed something I could quickly and easily use to make my presentations more effective. This product does that for me and more. It is easy to install and even easier to use. Just plug it on and start presenting. It's that simple! My favorite features are the built in laser pointer and a feature that allows you to turn off the projection device during your presentation when you need to bring home a point. My classmate were so impressed, they were tripping over themselves to borrow it for their own presentations. The best part was its cost. Very inexpensive, but very effective. Recommended it to all my classmates.

difficult to get USB receiver to connect

I have used Targus Presenters with my laptop in the past, however they were not the same model as my recent purchase. Prior to this purchase I have had no problems with the presenter's receiver connectivity on any models that I have used. It is totally frustrating trying to get this receiver to connect. It is never just a plug in and go, but it involves moving the receiver in and out and from side to side until you hit that sweet spot that allows it to connect. I am happy with the presenter and it's operation once it connects. I have no problem connecting any other items to my USB ports.

                  This particular product cannot be used with MAC. However, the company sells a Targus Bluetooth Presenter for Mac. According to the Targus website, the MAC compatible product comes with a laser pointer and cursor control.
