Great for Sitting Up in Bed

Nothing that I looked at was an exact match for my needs. I bought this one because it could be adjusted easily. My son made it reach farther over my bed so it lined up with my body. He also cut the little table and put 1/2 of the it on each side of the vertical bar. It was made to easily be customized for personal needs. I can't think of anything better! I[...]When it's not in use for my 17" laptop, it serves as a table for pizza when we watch a movie. It provides me with more table space which is an added benefit. I only wish I'd seen it earlier.

Yes it's easy to assemble but it's not very sturdy. I'm using it to support my keyboard to make a 'standing desk', and while I don't fear for the keyboard's safety, the amount of wobble in response to my typing is very distracting.

First of all the covering on the small panel and the large panel was bubbled up. I did not notice this until the cart was almost together because it has to be built almost upside down.[...]The other thing wrong with it is the legs are all uneven. The whole cart rocks I am almost afraid to put our laptop on this thing after all this is why we bought it. [...]

Added some non slip mesh to top to keep things from sliding around on it. Use it to work the crosswords, but it could go a little lower to make it easier to use from our recliners.

I wanted to sit less to reduce strain on my lower back. This stand works well.

When I first assembled the stand the springy button that holds the column at different heights had NO spring, and the stand always collapsed to its lowest position. The manufacturer emailed instructions with very clear photographs showing how to look down the center column and realign the spring so that the button works correctly.
