I had surgery recently and wanted to be able to email and work from a comfy chair. We bought this for less at local Staples. The cart has been just what I needed in my "nest" and works well with a rocker/recliner AFTER the wheels were removed. I have it on the lowest notch and it is very convenient to use.

I am the worst at putting stuff together, but this item was incredibly easy to assemble. All the parts were well labeled and fit together nicely. Then I put my laptop on it and start typing, and my gosh, with every keystroke the cart shakes. And even though I have it on the lowest position, if I'm sitting on the couch, it's still a bit too high...so measure the height range and see if it suits you from where you'll be sitting.

I work from home but my work laptop has a funky wireless card. Since I have to plug into my router and my router is in my living room near the TV, I needed a small work table. This table is great and can be stored away. It matches my decor. The small table is great for my document holder for when I am writing and typing rigorously. For stability sake, I did not put the wheels on it. The table is light enough that I can move it without the wheels. I also plan to use this in other rooms when I am not working, as a bedside table for my pullout sofa and for my daughter's laptop when she visits.

Based on reviews here, I ordered this unit online...[...]The bad news is that after assembly, it is cheap, rickety, flimsy, and unstable. I guess you get what you pay for. I would NOT risk placing my $1,200 Macbook on here. [...] they should not be selling such a shoddy product. I'd recommend you stay away from this and spend a bit more. I'm gonna try to find one in a store to test before I buy online again.
