A few comments here. One is that the bookshelf is reversible and can be assembled to be on the right or left side. In the Q and A section, the Staples employees say it is not reversible, but it is. Two is that another Q and A section asks if the shelves are adjustable. The height of the shelf positions and the gap between the shelves are NOT adjustable. However, you can easily remove and re-place the shelf in the frame... i.e. easily take out a shelf if need be. For my computer tower to sit on the bottom shelf, I had to take out the second shelf up from the bottom. The shelves just pop on and off of the bookcase frame. Three is that the glass top of the desk area is heavy and solid. This is a well-built desk and frame and is not flimsy. I am very happy with this purchase for my home office!

Q:
Hi,

In one of the questions someone asked about weight limits. The answer said the keyboard tray can hold 33 pounds. I am unable to see the keyboard try in the picture and I am on the fence about ordering this desk as a keyboard tray is very important to me. Can you please confirm that there is a key board tray.

My second question is can you confirm the depth of the shelves. I have an HP 4-in-1 that is at minimum 12" deep (front to back) and would like to be sure I can place it on the bottom shelf of the bookcase.

Please advise.

  To answer both questions, First, yes, there is a keyboard tray that you can add to the desk, it is optional and is not actually shown in the picture. Second, the shelves are approximately twenty four inches deep, this will make a nice choice for your computer unit.
