Q: Can you attach the shelving unit to the end of the desk rather than have a second shelf? If so, would it affect the sturdiness or strength of the structure? Asked on 6/12/2012 by Matt from Baton Rouge Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: It might be possible to attach the bookshelf part of the unit to the end of the desk section, but it would seriously undermine the stability of the desk because the crossbars in the back cannot be attached anywhere other than as shown in the picture. Q: Hi, In one of the questions someone asked about weight limits. The answer said the keyboard tray can hold 33 pounds. I am unable to see the keyboard try in the picture and I am on the fence about ordering this desk as a keyboard tray is very important to me. Can you please confirm that there is a key board tray. My second question is can you confirm the depth of the shelves. I have an HP 4-in-1 that is at minimum 12" deep (front to back) and would like to be sure I can place it on the bottom shelf of the bookcase. Please advise. Thank you, ~Heather Asked on 4/4/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: To answer both questions, First, yes, there is a keyboard tray that you can add to the desk, it is optional and is not actually shown in the picture. Second, the shelves are approximately twenty four inches deep, this will make a nice choice for your computer unit. Answered on 4/6/2012 by Community Answer from None
