I had a huge desk before that took up so much space in our apartment. Though there are a lot of parts to assembly I was able to get it done, alone, within an hour. The desk is sturdy (we have five kids - we know sturdy), smaller, and holds our slim tower desktop, mouse, keyboard, and monitor perfectly. The only con for me is that I have a huge keyboard and the keyboard tray could come out about two inches further so I could just all of the function keys. Otherwise, I love this desk design, and the drawer was an added perk! Enjoy!

The desk was dificult to assemble and suffered damage during assembly process. It was also dificult to adjust the assembly to get the screws to line up some of which ended up not going all the way in. But it was worth the price/still functions for the most part.
