The project was bought as a utilitarian space saver for computer equipment. It fulfills that function quite well. One caveat - As in the case of most furniture, it comes boxed , so you cannot be guaranteed as to the condition of the merchandise. One of the legs of the desk I bought was significantly dented - but as I needed something immediately and live at a bit of a distance from my nearest Staples, I could not take the time to return and exchange it. In future it might be a good idea to open the packaging and check the merchandiise before purchase and taking it home.

The top shelf on this desk is held to the frame by cam connector bolts, but the bolts are not long enough to reach the cam nut. I returned the desk thinking the holes were drilled incorrectly, but had the same issue with the replacement. I finally assembled it by only screwing the bolts to the frame halfway. I also noticed that the desk at the store was assembled by a different set of bolts (presumably because of the same issue)

        This is an attractive option when looking for a computer desk without resorting to a gigantic desk that takes up all of your room. I use this desk in a bedroom cluttered with gigantic furniture, and I have to say, if they could only make beds this easy to shop for... I found it was difficult to assemble. The problem is that there are a lot of flat shelves with drilled holes that are supposed to be easy to match up with the supplied screws, but it took several tries to find the correct angle. It would be better to invite a friend to help you to hold these shelves while you screw them in. The final product is a little wobbly, but most of the time, I don't even notice nor care as I do my school work. Great space saver, and excellent on the price.

        The desk looks great, and is the perfect size. However, when we put it together half of the screws wouldn't insert and didn't match the pre-drilled holes. Right now it seems stable, but who knows in a few months with regular use. That's my only complaint with the desk.
