Q: I purchased this product pre-assembled. I can raise the back, but it immediately falls back down. I don't have a user's manual or an assembly manual. How do I get the back to stay up? Asked on 9/3/2012 by Wayne from Novato, CA Know the answer? Answer this question 2 answers A: The back on the Tempur-Pedic TP9000 does not adjust up or down; it does tilt back and forth, and you can adjust the tension with the large knob under the chair. You must have the TP8000, which does have a back that moves up and down. They can, however be easily be removed and replaced with casters that are more suited to your needs.
