Thought this was a very good everyday desk lamp, shines a nice light that isn't too obnoxious. I would recommend it to a friend. It's classy and utilitarian at the same time, and it doesn't take u too much room or give off too much light. It seems to be green enough, and it would go well with any type of desk setting. It's design is pretty modern, which I like. If you would like a very nice desk lamp this is the one to pick. It doesn't swivel a whole lot, so this is not the type of lamp you want.

This is a great little light that uses standard CFL bulbs so no need to run to the store at 9pm looking for a specialty bulb, or throwing the light out when the non-replaceable bulbs burn out.
