This does not take regular light bulbs, but chandelier style "B" bulbs. I like the dimmer switch, so the light intensity can be adjusted!

This is a solid built lamp. Heavy base. Nicely designed. It also has a knob to turn the brightness of the light.

The only con would be the type of lightbulb it uses, which are the pointy ones with the candelabra base that last around 1 year (based on 4 hours of use per day) before being replaced.

This lamp has a very attractive design to it. It is primarly used on a nightstand and makes a great reading lamp. Would work great on anyone's desk. Had slight problem with screwing in the light bulbs. Would recommend.

Hard to find lightbulbs to fit under the globe. Hard to find compatible lightbulbs. Staples rep had to google a different vendor for me to buy the lightbulbs from. Broke when i screwed light bulbs in.
