A waste of my money, buyer beware

I had used Print Shop Deluxe v15 for years (maybe 10?). Loved it. But with Windows 7, it would not allow me to save as PDF (it had before with XP)....Read complete review

I had used Print Shop Deluxe v15 for years (maybe 10?). Loved it. But with Windows 7, it would not allow me to save as PDF (it had before with XP). So I went to my local Staples store to "upgrade". Unfortunately, I did not research online before I went, nor did I read the box before I purchased it. I assumed (dangerous word!) that if I stuck with the same product, all would be well. Not so. BEWARE: It does NOT import your "old" Print Shop files. [...] More and more disappointments. Nowhere near as much versatility as the "old" program. I can't even begin to explain how frustrated I am. Grrrr. I suppose if you were a rank beginner and you were starting from scratch, this would be okay. But I wish I had never bought it. I don't know what to do now... I need a decent program that can save as a PDF. Does anyone have any ideas?

this program is for the novice. It is not a complete program that does everything. It is limited in functions. Very Basic! If your looking for something that is a step up from Microsoft Works, then this would be it. But, if you are wanting to truly create unique projects... it is not.

I have used older versions of this program for years and loved it. But not this! It's a mess!
I like to make a simple calendar each month, put a picture at the top (on the same page). I have tried off and on for the past month to make a calendar for the month of September and can't make it happen! The old version of the program enabled a single month's calendar very easily, but this thing wants to make a whole year's worth at one time. I don't want that and can't seem to get the program to produce a calendar for just one month. The instructions in the book do not make much sense; and the templates are a mess, too. (I've also tried the online guide - all it seems to want to do is sell me more clip art - grr!) Why won't this program just let me start with a blank page, then create a simple one-month calendar from there? I'm about to give up and pitch the whole thing. If someone has any insights, I sure would appreciate them!
