Hope they can improve: The position of the cooling fan makes it left-side heavy. Since the top is supported by a center pole, this could develope stabilization issues later on.

I bought this so I can use my laptop in several different rooms. It is too narrow for my 17" though, so I bought a Sudden Solutions™ 30" Personal Folding Table
Item no. 777587 to sit next to me so I can use my mouse.

This was a LOT better than I expected! The many features (light, cooling fan, adjustable height and tilt, etc.) enhance this well made rolling stand. I am able to move the laptop to any location and am ready to go. The stand is well made and finished well. It blends in any decor.

I purchased this higher end product because the last time I had a laptop cart, it broke on me. My thought was that if I purchased a higher quality one, the same wouldn't happen. I didn't keep it long enough to find out. The rollers don't make it easy to move back and forth and it doesn't fit well under a bed, or a sofa. I'm guessing its best use is with a desk? I loved my last laptop cart and will search for one like that instead. The legs where much easier to push under the bed and where ever I needed to tilt the tray, it was much easier to move.

  You could install an anti-theft cable by putting the cable through the handle on the stand, however; it is not recommended due to the entire unit, with your laptop, could be taken.

  It depends on the size of your laptop. If you have a larger laptop then you will not be able to fit the mouse pad comfortably, but have if you have a smaller net book you would be able to fit it.

  No. This product will not roll under the bed. The vertical bar in the center prohibits it from being positioned so that you can sit in bed and work on a laptop.
