          I really like the look of this clock, but the second hand softly "ticks". It's subtle, but in a quiet room, it's VERY annoying. I have to see if I can get used to it. Otherwise, I may need to return it.

          In a mid-volume office space, fine, but in a quiet room, I wouldn't advise it.

              This clock is an elegant, reliable addition to our church library. The wood grain of the face matches the library's shelving, and the frosted-glass around the face is a lovely decorative touch. We're very pleased with it. And, by the way, the face is a dark-brown, wood-grain finish, not black as stated in the description!

                I was surprised at the quality of the clock for the money I paid. It is a very nice clock, which we are using in a business office. Many colleagues and clients have complimented the clock. It truly makes a nice wall decoration, while being very functional as well.
