Good Deal

Nice GPS device for a reasonable price. Natural language software does an OK job pronouncing street names. Directions have been accurate so far. Usually able to get satellite reception within a few seconds. I've tried to put it to the test by intentionally ignoring the directions and taking side streets, but the GPS always finds its way.

Most Liked Negative Review

Don't buy this one.

Very poor controls (screen taps). The volume controls are terrible... extremely difficult to get the volume to even stay on rather than be muted which it ALWAYS defaults to even after you've just tried to re-set it to 100%. Having the volume controls on the screen rather than as a separate dial are also a BIG disadvantage. Even at best, when you can actually get the volume to work at all, the voices aren't really as loud as they could be. I may try to exchange this for a Garmin GPS with a separate volume control dial if possible!

I still havent figured out how to get it on direct route mode, but it definetly gets you there.

I like the units clear and crisp screen but the voice promts to turn ect are slow and most of the time do not work. I have tried multiple setting and calling Tom Tom, no luck, just have to pay more attention to the screen and not the road.....
