    My old external hard drive constantly overheated and things went very wrong at the last of it's life. I hope to keep this one in use a lot longer than the old one! You simply plug it into a USB port and you are ready to go!

    I do a lot of power point presentations and I am always on the go from one school to another. It is easy to carry in my purse. I love the red color, which makes it easy to find in my purse or briefcase. I also store pictures and files. It has ample of storage.. I use it aslo to back up the data on my computer. The Toshiba Canvio is fast. It is the first time for me to by a Toshiba brand external drive, and I am very statisfied with the perfrmance. The price was very attractive, and that's why I selected it in the first place, however, I am not disappointed, and I would recommend it!

        All these drives are similar. This one comes with a 3 year warranty, and is available in great colors. Case is plastic, a little cheesy, but I'm sure rugged. Has small feet on the bottom, a nice touch for desktop use.
