I am not sure why the other reviewers had problems with the Windows download. I have Windows 2000 and use Microsoft Security anti-virus. It downloaded and worked perfectly with no glitches. I wonder if the other reviewers chose the correct download, or if their anti-virus didn't like something on it??? I also completed the free H&R Block software online just for validation purposes and the amounts came out exactly the same, so I'd say TurboTax 2011 is also accurate.

I am a long-time TTax user, back to Chipsoft days. It has always gotten better. This year, I can't even install it; some dolt put in a needs-SP3 flag. XP/SP3 retrofits Vista "features" on XP, effectively killing many older drivers and so on. I called TTax tech support; I got a chippy in India who didn't understand English, was technically inept (I'm qualified to judge) and unable to escalate the call (she connected me to a tax preparer, whose manager wasn't even able to figure out where to route the call). This is a useless product, and I have made a bad purchase. I will by the H&R Block product, maybe, and I will not buy it at Staples.

Simply put the Staples download doesn't work at all. Nothing wrong with the TurboTax software, but buy the CD, don't waste your time with the download.
