The ink cartridge is ok for the price. It smears a little in the postage meter, but reads ok. The color is supposed to be RED, and it seems a little more on the PINK side. All in all, I have repurchased it due to the price compared to manufacturer's price.

This generic ink cartridge fits the machine fine and works okay, but within a couple of months it dries out and you can no longer use it. If you are a high-volume mailer that has to relace postage meter cartridges more frequently than every 2 months it would be fine.... but if you are a less-frequent user, buy the official Pitney-Bowes product. It's more expensive but won't dry out, and probably ends up being cheaper in the long run.

    This is a basic replacement ink catridge for the Pitney Bowes postage meter. Although it worked fine, the color of the ink was more of a pink tone than red. It is okay for the savings in price difference, though.

            Use product at work in mailing meter. The price is right but the ink isn't as sharp as the pitney bowes ink. Ink cartridge doesn't last as long as pitney bowes.

            If you have a PB personal meter, you can't print postage without this ink cartridge. So you don't have much choice.

            This product is designed to dry out in a few months and needs to be replaced whether you use it or not. The same cartridge with the PB name on it is no better but it costs a bit more.
