This is a GREAT phone .. so glad we chose it. We wanted 3 phones and a screen on the master unit; this wonderful Uniden provides both as well as ease of loading phone numbers (70 as we wanted) in addition to 50 CID numbers. The instruction book is obviously American written; we appreciate be able to follow it easily. Great phone system!!!

Pros: I love that this is well lit, and has speakerphone. I can add a lot of names to the directory, and it's VERY easy to check messages...just the touch of a button on each phone (you don't have to be at the actual base message machine).

Other people can be on handsets around the house. Sometimes these phones only let you use one handset at a time.

Cons: Why didn't they make this phone with a place to attach an external headset!!! Speaker is fine to use, but sometimes I want a PRIVATE hands free conversation.

The speaker tends to come in and out in sound. It seems to respond to some type of noise filtering. Frustrating.

And of course, why would they not make phone clips, so that you can attach it to your clothes and walk around doing other tasks.

I rated this lower because of it's lacking feature, but it really is a decent phone, if you don't care about those other features. I just spend a lot of time making calls, and I'd like to have seen the features I've mentioned.

Ordered this phone because of new features like Call Blocking. Should have known that addition of new features generally means subtraction of old, favored ones. E.g, the address book on my previous Uniden phone, PowerMax 5.8 GHZ, allowed two phone numbers per name entr -- home number, work number, cell phone, with options. This has no options, only one number per name. The answering feature is tinny, several buttons don't work, and the phone is lightweight and flimsy out of cheap plastic. Bad news. Keep looking.
