I bought this phone and handsets for my very hard-of-hearing mother. Although the sound was pretty good, and she loved the boost feature which really helped her, she could not make out the recorded messages from callers. They were not loud enough and the sound was not clear either. Unfortunately, we had to return it. It's probably fine for someone without too much hearing loss. Another thing, it was somewhat frustrating and confusing to access the features, perhaps because I was used to other phone configurations.

I wear hearing aids. The 'boost' volume works well for me, even without my hearing aid (I have a moderate hearing loss). Some of the instructions for setup were confusing, and each handset has to be dealt with separately, but once done, this product seems to work well - I've only had it for a week.

My husband refused to talk on a phone because he just could not hear. I had bought a hearing impaired phone for over $100.oo with no good results. He just pushes the boost button and like magic he's back on the phone again.

Great product. I've always like the Uniden phones.
Easier to set up than most and handy features. One of the few sets that still has a port for a headset which I ALWAYS use.

The only thing I was disappointed in was that there is no clip on it like most of the other Uniden phones.
