This was a great gift for a busy guy on the go like myself.

Tons of compartments for all my devices, computer and work stuff.
The solar power is excellent when traveling on sunny days.
If solar power is not available I am also able to charge the battery pack with power from my computer or electrical outlet. However, I rarely have to do that because the battery lasts so long. The battery pack can charge my iPhone multiple times before I need to recharge the battery pack.

Plus, the bag is durable and the support arms feel great on my shoulders.

This backpack is everything I thought it would be and more. I am a Judge Advocate (attorney) in the U.S. Army and I am involved in a lot of field exercises. When I am out in the field, I use this solar powered backpack to charge my phone so I still have access to my clients, subordinates, and superiors. The laptop container is well cushioned and keeps a tight grip around the laptop to keep it well-protected. I like the way the solar powered battery is positioned and protected within the backpack. I put this backpack through a lot of harsh conditions and both the bag and the battery remain intact. The solar powered battery has not failed and charges my phone and iPod just as fast as plugging it in an outlet. It is very durable without sacrificing any comfort. There is a lot of padding on both the strap and the part that is in contact with your back. All things considered, this is an excellent backpack for any situation: school, hiking, vacation, etc.

This was the best investment in a backpack. It has lot of compartments for all your items. The solar power feature is excellent on travel. I travel a lot and finding a plug is always a hassle. The battery can charge my Iphone 4 twice over without recharging the solar battery. I now never have to worry about losing power on my cell phone.
