    This lamp has 2 light settings. The low seting isn't very helpful; The high setting is very good but gets super hot and I could actually feel it on me arm as I was working at my desk

    Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

      What is the bulb # order for a replacment bulb?

        The answer that was provided to this question is incorrect. 450770 is a T-4 (bi-pin) halogen bulb (with 6.35mm width between the 2 pins that sit at one end of the bulb). This lamp (which I rec'd today) takes a T3 *Double Ended* Halogen Bulb (long skinny bulb). Completely different type of bulb altogether. Staples DOES sell this *STYLE* of bulb (Item # Item 728332, for example), but only in the 100W. Since this lamp cannot take a bulb higher than 75 watts, you will have to find replacement bulbs for this lamp somewhere other than Staples.
