I use these at work to put staff names on their mailbox slots. Whenever we have new staff I only have to move the top piece up or down in order to put future names alphabetical in order. We also label their name on their shelves in an open room where they have to store their client binders

I wish that it worked better on all surfaces. I used it to hang metal artwork that weighed less than 1.5 pounds, and was flat and flush to the wall and it did not always stick. I had to use a lot. When I took down the exhibit, the tape was difficult to remove, but I didn't mind that as much as the fact that it did not hold well.

I'm limited in the materials I am allowed to use to attach posters to classroom walls; the Velcro product does not damage the paint, even when I remove it, so I have begun using it exclusively. It adheres to laminated surfaces as well as block walls and doors, and it supports relatively heavy posters.
