Q: We presently have a two line cordless phone, to be replaced. Each line has a different phone number (one business, one personal). Does this VTech system have the same two separate phone number lines? In one of the online Q&As I thought I saw that if one line is in use, that an incoming call would roll over to the other line. We don't want the rollover feature, as business calls should only come in on the business line, personal on the other line. Thanks for your help Asked on 2/15/2012 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: According to VTech, the rollover service is actually provided to you by your phone company. This phone will keep your calls seperate as long as you haven't purchased the rollover service from your phone company. To place an order for this item, please contact us by dialing 1-800-333-3330. Q: Does this phone allow for multiple outgoing messages - by that I mean, can we pre-record multiple messages and choose which one we want on at that time. Our current system allows for five different outgoing messages, and we need something similar Asked on 10/5/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: This phone has a two line operation, and each line has a dedicated mailbox. So in answering your question, this phone is only capable of having two outgoing messages. Q: This was a comment in a product review. "When leaving the answering machine on at night, turning off call screening does not mute the recording beeps (at the beginning of the incoming message and at the end)." Is there a way to solve this problem? Asked on 9/17/2011 by Anne from Sequim, WA Know the answer? Q: I already asked this but for some reason it never posted. The description says it has speakerphone on the base and handset. However the only speakerphone button I see is on the headset. Or is that button for both the headset (when its out of the cradle) and the base (when the headset is in the cradle)? Asked on 7/13/2011 by Anonymous Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: The speakerphone button on the handset is the only button to activate or deactivate the speakerphone function. Answered on 7/15/2011 by Anonymous from None
Q: It says that this has a base speakerphone, but I do not see a button for that on the base. It is possible to press the speakerphone on the handseat while it is in the cradle to use speakerphone that way or must the handset be removed before you can user speakerphone Asked on 7/10/2011 by HH6 Designs Know the answer? Answer this question 1 answer A: Per VTech, please be informed that if you want to use the speakerphone on the handset, it should be removed from the cradle first. On the other hand, the telephone base of DS6151 has speakerphone. Once you dial a phone number from the telephone base's dial pad, the call is automatically on speakerphone.
