      Comments about ViewSonic 20" Refurbished LCD Monitor:

      Works great for word processing and spreadsheets if you don't like the wide-screen look. I got this just because I prefer the square-looking screen for office applications. The colors were not as sharp and clear, and resolution was not what I expected.
      I will not recommend it for multi-media or gaming applications.
      However, for that price for a refurnished unit - it's well worth it.

      I was looking for a bigger screen for ordinary office use for MS Word and MS Excel. This is about what you can get by, nothing fancy about the monitor except it's bigger than a 17". I wouldn't be happy if it is for multi-media or graphics use. The images are not clear and sharp even though the specs stated - 1600 x 1200. However, for [$] and a refurnished unit - can't expect too much out of that, get what you pay for.

              If the quoted resolution of 1600x1200 is accurate, it would indicate that this monitor is not widescreen. It has a 4:3 aspect ratio, as apposed to 16:9 or 16:10 (the common widescreen aspect ratios).
