The ViewSonic® PJD5123 is a high-performance SVGA 800x600 DLP projector with 2,700 ANSI lumens and 3000:1 contrast. This projector supports PC and HD video signals and projects clear, bright images in most lighting conditions. With a new slim design at only 3.2 inches height, making it ideal for moving from room to room on the campus or throughout the office. Texas Instruments' BrilliantColor™ technology delivers brilliant, true-color and high contrast images for viewing presentations, charts, or video. The PJD5123 offers a variety of hardware and software features including multiple PC and video input options, 1.1x optical zoom, auto vertical keystone correction, 120Hz/3D-Ready, support HD video signals, and integrated speaker. Filter-less design and energy-saving ECO-mode provide for easy maintenance and longer product life. For increased security, a PIN lock feature allows you to set a password to prevent unauthorized use. The PJD5123 is perfect for tabletop, ceiling mounting or taking on the road.

      As per the manual on this great Viewsonic projector; the Aspect Ratio is listed as follows:
      4:3 (native), 16:9, 16:10, auto. As per the manufacture, yes this projector will project in both 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratios, there is a menu selection on the screen that you can chose the desired ratio.
      Also the Contrast Ratio is listed as follows: 2000:1 (typ), 3000:1 (dynamic).

      3D glasses seem to be the key in 3D viewing, from ViewSonic, "all that´s required to unlock 3D capabilities is a pair of DLP Link compatible glasses, such as the optional ViewSonic PGD-150 active shutter glass kit." These are available at several online and electronics stores, cost is around $60.

      You should be confused, I called Staples and they redirected me to the following website: www.elitescreens.com/vs2 on this site is the form to submit for your "free" screen. There is a $48 shipping charge prepayable before your rebate is entered. Not free at all.

    Hi! Actually, my question is about the projector 327770 bulb. Please tell me what lamp bulb it takes. I have an extra one from viewsonic model # PJ402D and wonder if it will fit.

      The PJD5123 requires the bulb (RLC-072). This bulb is also compatible with the PJD5223 and the PJD5523w models. The PJ402D you reference utilizes the bulb (RLC-014) and is not compatible for use as a replacement bulb for the Viewsonic PJD5123.
