I needed a charger in a hurry and I found it at Staples. I went to Guyana and left my phone charger home. I used the Vivitar SC-All Universal Battery Charger for both my cell phone and my camera. Really saved my trip.

JUNK! Stopped working first time I used

I got this product to replace the charger for my Canon Rebel XSi. This universal charger seems like a bad design from the beginning. Once I got it set-up it would charge my battery for 30 seconds then stop. I would have to unplug to be able to get it to do anything. I tried it with the battery for my Kodak and Elph cameras too with similar results. I even took it with the instructions and my battery into staples for help from one of the techs. After 20 minutes, he called it a piece of junk. Luckily I could still return so no money lost. Save your money and frustration and skip this product.

    Instructions aren't the greatest.
    Works very well charges all my camera batteries no problem.
    Charges phone batteries too.
    Simple to use once you figure it out.
    Can be used both at home and car.
    I bought a second one just to keep in my travel bag just in case.

    I had a VERY hard time getting this to work with my Canon T2i battery. I wound-up having to use some blue-tac to get the battery to sat at an odd angle to make connection. Since I lost my charger, this worked in an emergency, but not without a lot of fiddling. I would not recommend depending on this to work for you.

        The way in which you insert the battery in order to charge it is very weird. If you move the charger at all while the battery is charging it can easily pop out.
