I was thrilled when I found this phone. Blue is my favorite color and this is the first time I have found phones with a blue backlight. The price was right (the set was on sale)and shipping was free. I couldn't find a better deal anywhere.

I just did the basics to set it up because I needed to make and receive calls in my home. Some of the other setup appears to be more complicated and I will need more time to do it. Also, it was confusing connecting my cell phone and more trouble than it was worth AND MY CELL PHONE DIED soon after I had connected it with the land line. I don't know if it was related but it makes me wonder and I will not connect my new cell phone to my land line with your phone. I am sorry to say that is one of the features I was looking forward to using which I will not be using at all now.

    I think the specs have a print error. I found no jack and the manual does not list one. Worked with Staples on-line folks and they cannot find one. I am returning it even though I like it otherwise as I need hands free for work.

                It does have a quiet mode/mute feature and conference calling capabilities (between both outside lines and handsets) so you get basically the same effect as a hold button.
